Mountain Man 1820 - 1840 Period by James Bama

"This vertical portrait shows a Mountain Man in the typical clothing look of what the men out west looked like back in the day. The Mountain man is wearing a animal hide hat and some leather clothing and holding his muzzle loader (Black Powder)riffle. "Annually, on the second weekend in July, the Green River Rendezvous is held in Pinedale, Wyoming. It is an historical pageant depicting the annual trading between the mountain men, the fur companies and the Indians. Mr. C. A. Golden is the most convincing modern-day mountain man I have ever seen. He posed for me while the other performers were dressing for the show." ~ James Bama
