Jackie Karon is a native of the Twin Cities. The second of four children, she grew up in St. Paul Minnesota where she awways displayed a passion for the arts. Asa young teen her talents where recognized by the prestigious Minneapolis College of Art and Design (MCAD) and she was invited to spend her summers there studying various media including painting, sculpture, photography and design. Jackie continued to cultivate and hone her artistic talents while studying graphic design at the University of Minnesota. Since graduating in 1991 with a B.A. in graphic design, Jackie has worked as a graphic artist, instructor, freelance photographer, expert faux painter, and commissioned fine artist. Her true passion is fine art painting and she specializes in murals and portrait work. Jackie Karon is active in numerous philanthropic undertakings and is honored to contribute to many nonprofit organizations. Jackie currently resides in Mendota Heights, MN. with ber best friend Scout her golden retriever.
