Zfr Mainstreet By Terrence Fogarty - Framed

Mainstreet by Terrence Fogarty

"Mainstreet" is a fictional scene based on the northern Minnesota town of Eveleth. The scene depicts two kids with there hockey equipment stopping by the sporting goods store to admire the new hockey gear on their way back from practice. Next door, the town barber has closed up shop to watch the Minnesota State Hockey Tournaments on TV. The paintings Rise and Shine and Main street, featured on the program covers of the 2006 Boys' and Girls' State Hockey Tournaments, have an real Iron Range flavor.

Mainstreet is based on a view of downtown Eveleth but with some artistic adjustments to the storefronts on the left side of the painting. Patrons of Bill St. Mane's Sporting Goods in South Minneapolis will notice a striking similarity to the storefront in Main street. A limited edition hockey art print signed and numbered by Sports artist Terrence Fogarty for sale starting at $80 for the unframed paper print.

Many thanks to the Charchenko family of Victoria for their help with both of these depictions of Minnesota's hockey heritage. Order yours today. All artwork is professionally boxed and fully insured, guaranteed to arrive in mint condition.
